<P>This is an introduction to the Linux Console Tools package.  You should refer to the
manpages for more details.</P>

<P>The Linux Console Tools 
<A HREF="http://lct.sourceforge.net/">WWW site</A> may contain additionnal informations, latest news,
and such.</P>
<P>Files in the <CODE>doc/contrib/</CODE> directory are unsupported, and may
be obsolete, but are provided just in case someone needs them.</P>
<P><CODE>README.{acm,sfm,keytables}</CODE> give some info on the respective
included data files.</P>
<P><CODE>kbd.FAQ.*</CODE> is the Console and Keyboard HOWTO by Andries Brouwer,
as included in <CODE>kbd</CODE> 0.97.  It would need some corrections, though.</P>
